Wash fish-fillets properly and keep in a colander. Marinate fillets with half teaspoon of turmeric and half teaspoon of salt and keep aside. - First smear the fish with half teaspoon turmeric and salt.then take a big fry pan, add one tablespoon oil and fry the fish well on both sides until they are slightly brown in colour. then put it out if the pan and keep aside.
- Combine salt,chilli powder and turmeric with mustard paste and keep aside.
- Now take a pan, add one teaspoon mustard oil, then add garlic in the oil and fry them for 2minutes, then add onion paste and cook for 2mins, then add tomato paste. After two minutes add mustard paste which we have keep aside.
- Now fry the whole paste until oil floats on the top. then add half teaspoon water and let it boil.
- Then add the fish in the gravy and let it boil with a lid.turn once and boil it for few more minutes. Once the gravy thickens switch off the flame and it's ready to serve.
