  6. Get 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  7. Prepare Sauce
  8. Get 1/4 cup sesame oil

  10. Get 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  11. Get 1 tsp honey
  12. Get 1 tbsp hot red chili oil
  13. Get 2 tbsp sesame seeds

I have a head of cabbage. Serve garnished with your favorite fresh herb (optional). I served Paleo Coleslaw with pan fried, pasture-raised, jerk-pork seasoned chops. Paleo Asian Coleslaw with crunchy vegetables, tossed in a creamy Japanese sesame dressing.

Instructions to make Paleo Cole Slaw:
  1. Slice or shred vegetables with a knife or in a food processor
  2. Toast almonds over medium heat for 3-5 minutes and allow to cool. Then add them to the veggies.
  3. Combine sauce ingredients. Order does not matter.
  4. Pour sauce over vegetables and toss until coated well.
  5. Allow slaw to set up for at least one hour in the refrigerator before serving. Longer is better.
