I don't recommend it, as raw cabbage does not freeze well.

  1. Peel outer layer of the cabbage and discard
  2. Shred cabbage into fine strips
  3. Peel and grate carrots
  4. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and olive oil in a large bowl
  5. Add cabbage and carrot in batches to ensure they are well covered
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving
  7. Toss well before serving

Choose from our most-popular renditions for your next picnic or potluck. Make coleslaw dressing: In a small mixing bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar and honey. If needed season with a bit of salt. Pour dressing over shredded cabbage mixture: Place shredded coleslaw mix in a large bowl then pour the dressing mixture over. Toss together: Toss to evenly coat.
