This coleslaw recipe (our way of preparing it) is ridiculously easy with cabbage, carrot, and onions gently mixed and coated with mayonnaise, a dab of yellow mustard (which by the way is just Dijon mustard with some added turmeric), vinegar, and black pepper. This coleslaw is a great side dish to bring to summer potlucks, and pairs well with recipes like Slow Cooker Pulled Pork, tacos (especially fish tacos), lunch wraps with deli meat, hot dogs, and more. Steps to make Coleslaw:
  1. Wash & peel carrot.cut in fine julians.do not use orange carrots red carrots give good taste. Take cabbage & shred finely.sprinkle vinegar over both & leave till prepare mayo.
  2. Add salt,caster sugar,whitepepper in mayonnaise.add cream & mix well.I use whipping cream.you can use any. Mix till smooth.
  3. Squeeze carrot & cabbage in hands before adding into mayonnaise to remove excess water otherwise thy leave water & slaw becomes thin.
  4. Mix carrot & cabbage gently in one direction.cover with cling & keep refrigerated till use. It is used fresh as well. Enjoy with burgers sandwiches frenchfries & other snacks.

Make coleslaw dressing: In a small mixing bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar and honey. If needed season with a bit of salt. Pour dressing over shredded cabbage mixture: Place shredded coleslaw mix in a large bowl then pour the dressing mixture over. Toss together: Toss to evenly coat. If the coleslaw seems dry, add a little more of the dressing.
