- In a pressure cooker take beetroot, onion, tomatoes and garlic pods. Add water and boil for 3 whistles on medium flame.
- Let the pressure cooker cool down. Then blend everything in a blender.
- Next strain the blended mixture.
- Now take a thick bottom pan add butter let it melt, then add the blended beetroot mixture in it. Bring it to boil.
- In a small bowl take cornflour and very little water and make a liquid paste.
- Add this cornflour mix into the above soup, keep stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add salt, black pepper powder and sugar. Give it a mix. Adjust water if required. And the soup is ready.
- Serve in a soup bowl and garnish with fresh cream.
