- Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease and line the cake tin.
- Put Honey, Butter, Caster Sugar, Ground almonds, Flour, Baking powder, Baking soda and Yogurt into a mixing bowl.

- Stir in a third of the egg whites, then gently fold it to the mixture with a spatula.

- Bake the cake for 55 min or as per the cake tin you use. Perform the skewer test (skewer inserted comes out clean).
- Remove the cake from oven, drizzle 2 Tablespoon Honey and scatter a pinch of salt. Put back in oven for 5 min. Remove from oven, drizzle with 2 tablespoon more of Honey.
This almond cake may be healthy, at least as far as desserts go, but that's just an incidental benefit. Brush cake with warmed honey as soon as it comes out of the oven.
