Steps to make Butter chicken:
- Marinate the chicken pieces with red chilli powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, lime juice and salt and keep it aside for 15 - 20 minutes.
- In a pan heat some oil, fry the marinated chicken in it. Once done, keep aside.
- In a pan add 2 tbspn butter, onion and once the onions are cooked add tomatoes and cashew nuts. Add some water, garlic paste, salt, sugar, garam masala and kashmiri red chilli powder. Evenly mix it and let it simmer for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove from fire and wait for this mix to get cool.
- After the mix gets cool, grind it to a fine paste. Using a sieve drain the puree.
- Pour this puree in a pan and heat it.
- Add remaining 3 tbspn butter, fresh cream, fried chicken and kasoori methi. Let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Check the taste and add lacking things according to your taste. - Garnish it with fresh cream and coriander leaves. - Butter Chicken is ready to be served.
