- Fill the batter in a air tight container for fermentation.
- For fermentation it takes 48 to 72 hrs(depands on weather)
- Stir the batter once a day
- This step is important to give that khatta taste to jalebi
- To make sugar syrup. Heat a pan add sugar add water..add saffron.mix until it dissolved fully.simmer the syrup until it attains one thread consistency
- Now, heat ghee in a pan over medium flame for deep frying.fill the batter in jalebi maker bottle (empty ketchup squeeze bottle)
- Move from inside to outside to make perfect circles. Fry till jalebis are crisp and golden.
- Soak the jalebis in sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes
- Remove from syrup.
- Texture of Jalebi is depands on fermentation and consistency of batter.
