  6. Prepare Vegetables one bowl any of your choice like capsicum, carrot
  7. Get 1 Onion
  8. Get Ghee 2 table spoons

Upma or Uppumavu is a part of South Indian Cuisine. In Kerala, Uppumavu is generally made for breakfast. Whereas, in other South Indian states, Upma is a tiffin. I normally make Rava Uppumavu as my hubby likes having it with bananas.

Instructions to make Vegetable Upma:
  1. Take a pan, put on flame now put soji in pan and roast it, till it change color.
  2. Now add one spoon ghee, and roast all the cutted vegetables, when all the vegetables cooked add spices and sugar.
  3. Now add soji in the content and mix it
  4. Add water and stimmer till the water soaked.
  5. Now it is ready. serve it with Tea or coffee

When there are no bananas, I make Vegetable Upma for a quick lunch or dinner. You can serve Vegetable Uppumavu with any Chutney or Pickle. Vegetable Upma with hot filter coffee is one our favorite South Indian breakfast. One of the most favourite breakfast in south Indian homes, upma and steaming hot filter coffee is one of our favorite too.. A very tasty and fast upma recipe for breakfast.
