Add the soy sauce and ketchup and season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes to combine the flavours. I have a chronic condiment problem. I tend to have waaaay too many bottles of half used condiments in my fridge, so when I can make a homemade sauce with. My first thought was to run to the store to grab a jar of BBQ sauce, but I quickly realized that healthier bottled BBQ sauce is kind of hard to find.
