- Boil sugar, add lemon slice,cardamom and food colouring. Boil for 10 minutes.
- Add fried boonthi into the sugar syrup. Cover with lid. Cook for 3 minutes in low flame.
- Let it rest completely. Leave it in the same pan for 1 hour. After 1 hour add nuts/raisins/ unsalted sun flower seeds if you want to and mix well. Make into a ball shape.
