This is a nice beginning to a recipe I grew up with. Then I put the dough on a well floured counter, mix in enough flour to keep the dough from being sticky. These delicious noodles keep very well in the refrigerator.

- Get 1 cup wheat flour
- Prepare Salt as per taste
The only thing I don't do is dry the noodles- not necessary. I throw them in a bowl, sprinkle in a little flour, so everyone gets coated a little and chuck them into boiling chicken stock (with shredded chicken already in it) and cook just until the noodles are done and the broth. - Add flour, pinch of salt in a deep bowl. Pour in water slowly. And bind the dough
- Knead the dough until your hand is clean, your bowl is clean and the dough is smooth. Then keep kneading for another 10 minutes.
- Keep aside the dough for around 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough very thin in rectangle or round shape and dust dry flour on it
- Now to fold the rolled sheet around 5cm wide. Each time after folding up, spread the surface with flour. Cut any irregular part if necessary.
- Cut the folded dough into thin strips with a sharp
- Spread flour on plate before placing the noodle strips in plate and keep aside for 5 min to dry it up
- Unfold the strips one by one and then shake the extra flour off.As you’re cutting the noodles, gently separate them out with your hands and toss them in flour so they don’t stick.
- In a pan will take water to boil and cook the noodles for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the thicknes
- Our noodles r ready
A much better taste than store bought. I also remember my great-grandmother making noodles like this when I visited her in Oklahoma, many moons ago. For some reason, people tend to think making homemade noodles from scratch is difficult. The truth is, it is simpler than you think. I wanted to share this simple recipe on how to make homemade noodles, so you can try making them instead of picking up a package of the frozen noodles from the store.
