In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and brown the beef strips quickly, then push the beef strips off to one side. Oh Beef Stroganoff—the ultimate comfort food! To make it, we sauté tender strips of beef and mushrooms in butter, then swirl with sour cream to make a creamy sauce, and serve over noodles, rice, or fries. Instructions to make Beef Stroganoff:
  1. Dust beef strips in flour, shake off any excess. Melt half the butter in a large fry pan and cook beef in batches until seared all over. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add the rest off the butter and fry onion and garlic until softened.
  3. Add mushys and cook for a further 2 or 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in beef stock, paprika, tomato paste and worcestershire sauce. Season with sea salt and cracked black pepper and allow to simmer for 5 minutes or so- sauce will thicken slightly.
  5. Return the beef (with any juices) and stir in sour cream and simmer for another minute. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve on pasta or rice. Enjoy!
