Add green onion, garlic powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Place cold mashed potatoes into a large mixing bowl. With lightly floured hands - pick up a tablespoon sized ball of potato mixture and flatten into a small pancake. Place a cube of cheddar in the center and wrap the potato mixture around the cheese.

  1. Boil your potatoes till soft, using a masher or mwiko……mash them abit add your chopped green onion,garlic powder and chilli flakes…..mash together
  2. In another bowl add bread crumbs, a little salt, 1/4tsp of paprika,1tsp of cooking oil mix together…… Cut your cheese(I used mozarella) into little cubes, scoop 1tsp of your mashed potatoes into your palm…..make a hole deep a piece of your cheese…..close the cheese inside to make a ball
  3. Toss the potatoe ball in the flour first make sure it's floured all round……from the flour to the egg wash also make sure it's covered well……now into the breadcrumbs mixture cover it well too
  4. Cover your baking sheet with a foil or greese proof paper…..put your cheese balls……bake for 20mins at 200degrees……or until golden brown…….remove from the oven and serve…….born appetite!!!
