- Wash Chana Dal. Add dal, salt and water in pressure cooker. Cover the lid and cook until 4-5 whistles. Once steam releases open the lid and drain excess water. Keep 2 tsp dal a side.
- Mash dal with masher and add all ingredients except oil. Mix all properly. Taste the seasonings. Adjust as per your taste. Add chana dal (which we kept aside) in batter.
- Heat appe pan. Drizzle some oil in each pit. Pour batter in each pit. Cook it until golden brown. Cover the lid. After 3-4 minutes Flip it's side.
- Cook bottom side until golden on slow flame.
- Once cooked transfer in dish. Serve with curd dip.
- For dip: take 1/2 cup hung curd, 2 tsp mayonnaise sauce, piri piri masala, 1/2 tsp mint powder oregano, chill flakes and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
