  2. Add bay leaf and chopped onion. Saute the onion until slightly golden brown. Add turmeric and red chilli powder. Saute for some seconds or so.
  3. Add ginger and garlic paste. Saute for 1-2 min. Next, add chopped tomato and salt.
  4. Saute in medium to low flame till oil separates.
  5. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder, Kasuri methi and slitted green chilli. Saute for another 1 minute.
  6. Add boiled potato cubes and saute for 2 minutes in medium flame.
  7. At this point add 1/2 cup of warm water. Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 10 minutes Check in between.
  8. Lastly, add chopped coriander leaves and rest garam masala powder. Mix well and serve hot.
