  11. Take 2 Onion (Finely chopped)- medium
  12. Take 3 Green chilli chopped -

  14. Get 1/2 Tsp Fennel seeds -
  15. Prepare 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala -
  16. Prepare to taste Salt -
  17. Take 2 - 3 Tbsps Oil -

  19. Prepare Bread crumbs - as needed
  20. Prepare 2 or 3 Egg beaten -
  21. Get Maida - as needed (for the sealing and coating batter)

I had just made a double batch of Skinny Taste Salsa Verde so used that this time, and roasted some poblanos that I used for the chili's in the roll up. These stuffed crescent rolls are the perfect comfort food. Try cooking the chicken in an Instant Pot. Separate and unroll the crescent rolls and place side by side in.

Steps to make Chicken Roll | A Snack Recipe:
  1. Making filling
  2. Cook chicken in a kadai by adding 1/4 Tsp turmeric & 1 Tsp red chilly powder and salt with sufficient amount of water.Let it cook on a low flame till the meat is soft and all the water is absorbed. Cool it down and crush the cooked chicken in a chopper/food processor and keep aside.
  3. Heat 3 Tbsp of oil in a pan, add finely chopped onion and saute till onion turns pink to light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilly. Saute till the raw smells leaves.
  4. Now add 1/ Tsp turmeric powder, 3 Tsp red chilly powder, and and pepper powder. Saute for 2-4 minutes.
  5. Now add crushed chicken,garam masala and fennel seeds to it. Saute till the masala becomes dry and the colour changes to dark brown. Allow this to cool down well before filling.
  6. Making Pancakes
  7. Make a thin batter as for making a usual pancake batter.
  8. Heat a non-stick frying pan or tawa and make pancakes.
  9. Making the rolls
  10. Take a pancake. Place 1 Tbsp of the filling and fold from the sides and roll it.
  11. Stick the sides with the maida paste made with maida and water. Arrange all the rolls.
  12. Dip each rolls in the beaten eggs, and roll in the bread crumbs very carefully.
  13. Heat oil for deep frying and when hot, make the flame to medium.
  14. Now deep fry each of the rolls to golden brown.
  15. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any dip you wish.

Place a slice of ham and cheese on each piece of chicken. Roll up from a short side and tuck in ends; secure with a toothpick.
