Sure it was a combo of chicken & veggie Lo Mein but wow was it good. Used the base sauce here and as others suggested- skipped the cup of water and added a TBL of both Hoisin sauce & Oyster sauce (again- make it to your taste). All those Oriental flavors of sesame ginger garlic Hoisin & Oyster sauce the flavorful chicken & crisp veggies is like.

The ingredients needed to make Chicken Lo Mein:
  1. Get 1 box spaghetti
  2. Get 1 lb Chicken cutlets cut into strips
  3. Take 1 tbsp Olive oil
  4. Prepare 3 clove Garlic, minced
  5. Make ready 3 tbsp Sugar
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  7. Prepare 1 pinch Ground ginger

How to Make Chicken Lo Mein. Cook the Lo Mein noodles according to package instructions, but pre-al dente. Next, you make the sauce by stir-frying garlic with some oil, then add in the chicken, Napa cabbage, mushroom, carrots and chicken broth. Cooking a large batch of lo mein in a wok or over crowding the wok will result in steaming the ingredients rather than stir frying.

Steps to make Chicken Lo Mein:
  1. Put spaghetti up to a boil, while spaghetti is boiling prepare the chicken
  2. In a larger skillet on medium high flame- heat the olive oil and garlic. Add chicken strips and cook for about one minute
  3. When chicken strips turn white add soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Coat all chicken pieces and cover pan for about 4 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Make sure chicken does not stick to the pan
  4. When chicken has been fully cooked, remove from flame and add the hot spaghetti to it. Coat completely.

I love making my favorite take out dishes at home. They taste so much better and are easy to make! Besides fried rice and general tso's chicken, lo mein with chicken is one my favorite take out dishes!. I used a mix of pre chopped stir fried veggies to keep it super easy. Remove from the wok and set aside.
